Can machines Think?

Would a machine be able to think like a human?

To be able to understand this question, one must first and foremost look at how we, as humans define and perceive thinking itself. Thinking is the act of forming an idea, this by understanding what you already know about the subject at hand, and then implementing it into a new idea or a conclusion. That is based on the experience that oneself has encountered. This thought then evolves and adapts to new situations as one comes in contact with more and more experiences.

Showing our individuality as human beings. Since each human being has a different way of forming an idea about the same topic. We have opinions, tastes and likings which differ wildly across cultures and further within different personalities inside our own culture. Going this roundabout way, would a machine, say an AI, using a mind of its own, the CPU, be able to process different forms of data. Then using this data form its own opinion on the outcome? Ask Siri she might know.
